The iconic Queensbridge duo Mobb Deep has officially announced their new album, Infinite, set to drop on October 10, 2025. It’s their first full-length release since 2014, and intriguingly, it includes previously unreleased vocals from Prodigy, who passed away in 2017.
The album’s lead track, “Against the World,” is produced by Havoc, continuing their signature dark, gritty sound. In a statement, Havoc described the project as coming “full circle”—a blend of their classic energy and a new reflection of contemporary hip hop.

Legacy & Significance
Mobb Deep’s influence in the 1990s and 2000s is massive — The Infamous, Hell on Earth, Murda Muzik — their work shaped that raw, street-level East Coast aesthetic. This new album serves not just as a comeback but a tribute to that legacy, with Prodigy’s voice embedded as a bridge between past and present.
Also notable: the album is part of a broader “Legend Has It” series by Mass Appeal that features new projects from other rap legends (Nas, Ghostface, etc.).
Tour & Celebrations
To celebrate Infinite and honor their 30th anniversary since The Infamous, Havoc will go on a co-headlining tour with Raekwon shortly after the album drops. This move is intended to honor both the legacy and bring new energy to live audiences.

What to Expect
A sonic mix: classic boom-bap, aggressive lyricism, with some modern production touches to keep it current
Emotional weight: Prodigy’s vocals will add a nostalgic and somber dimension
Relevance: This comeback could reenergize interest in the gritty, raw side of rap that’s sometimes overshadowed by more commercial sounds.
